President of Democracy section of the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium, Alagie Manjang, expressed their willingness to support Serrekunda East Committee in their quest to build another democracy pavilion at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.
Manjang stated that they have a role to play in the development of sports in Serrekunda East.
He revealed that their sons and brothers are currently playing at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium, adding that it is their responsibility to support Serrekunda East Committee to develop the Mini Stadium.
He noted that their effort is unprecedented in the history of Serrekunda East, adding that within five years in office they have a new pavilion.
‘‘We are now planning to build the second pavilion at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium,’’Manjang said.
First vice president of SESDO, Sheikh Tijan Jobe, expressed appreciation to democracy section of the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium for rendering support to Serrekunda East Committee.
He stated that Serrekunda East Committee already paid D3000,000 to contractor Manasi Company and the cost of the first phase of the pavilion construction exercise is D600,000.
