The Gambia National Women’s team over the weekend thumped Sierra Leone 2-0 in the first-leg tie of the 2022 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations qualifiers played at the AT Stadium in Monrovia, Liberia.
According to Italian newspaper, Secolo XIX the Hoops (Celtic) have proposed a deal that will see a £1.8m loan fee paid for an initial season for the 27-year-old Gambian.
