Mar 16, 2021, 12:40 PM | Article By: Lamin Darboe

Brikama United on Friday thumped BK Milan 2-0 in their week-nine game of the 2020-2021 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division One League game played at the National Technical Training Centre at Yundum.

The Sateyba boys drew 1-1 with Hawks prior to their match with the Bakau based-team, who are playing extremely brilliant in the country’s top flight league.

Brikama United needed the significant three points to maintain their chances of lifting the league title following their sloppy start to the country’s premier league campaign.

Midfielder Lamin Balajo gave Brikama United the lead in the first half before Papis Nyassi scored the second goal in the second half to snatch a resounding victory over the Bakau based-team to clutch the vital three points after drawing with Hawks in their last league encounter.

The victory earned Brikama United 10 points after nine leaguer fixtures while BK Milan are with 9 points in nine league matches.

Wallidan drew goalless with Real De Banjul at the Real De Banjul Football Academy Field in Basori.

Real De Banjul now grabbed 15 points in nine league outings while Wallidan are with 6 points in nine league games.
