Coach Mckinstry was speaking following The Gambia’s failure to qualify for the continent’s biggest football showpiece.
The Scorpions failed to qualify for the 2025 Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations after finishing third-place in Group A of the qualifiers with 8 points in six group matches.
“The moment is difficult.
But the future is bright,’’ Coach Mckinstry said.
Coach Mckinstry stated that their 2025 Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations qualifier campaign didn’t end as planned.
We have made important progress toward the vision of football we want for The Gambia,’’ Coach Mckinstry said.
