Bombada FC gives cash to players, officials from FIFA COVID-19 fund

Players and officials of Bombada Football Club in Brikama have recived D50, 000 cash from the team management as part of world football governing body; FIFA COVID-19 financial relief support to affiliated member countries.

Bombada are among the teams contending for promotion to Division One League before Gambia Football Federation (GFF) declared the 2019-2020 Second Division League campaign null and void following President Adama Barrow’s declaration of the state of public emergency in a bid to control the spread of coronavirus endemic in the country.

They were demoted to the second tier season before last after their dismal performance in the country’s top flight league.
