The West Coast Regional Football Association (WCRFA); an affiliate of The Gambia Football Federation has announced that its Regional League 2019-2020 Season is been declared null and void following the Covid-19 pandemic.
Bombada are among the teams contending for promotion to Division One League before Gambia Football Federation (GFF) declared the 2019-2020 Second Division League campaign null and void following President Adama Barrow’s declaration of the state of public emergency in a bid to control the spread of coronavirus endemic in the country.
They were demoted to the second tier season before last after their dismal performance in the country’s top flight league.
The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) has received a circular from FIFA on Friday 24 April informing Member Associations of its immediate financial relief for the impact of COVID-19 on Member Associations.
