Musa Jarju opened the scores for Black Star FC in the first half.
Jarju netted the second goal for Black Star FC in the second half to complete his brace.
Tungina United fought vigorously for an equaliser but were unable to neutralize Black Star FC‘s formidable defence line thus the match ended 2-0 in favour of Black Star FC.
As champions, Black Star FC went home with a giant trophy and cash prize of D10, 000 while Tungina United received D5, 000 as runners up.
The kick-off was taken by the Alkalo of Kuloro Siaka Saidy.
Alkalo Saidy advised the players to accept the outcome of the match in good faith.
‘‘In every game, there must be a winner and a loser.
‘‘The tournament was meant to enhance peace,’’ Alkalo Saidy said.
First chairperson of the Kuloro and Tungina Sports Committee, Kebba Barry, also expressed similar sentiments.
The chief of Kombo East, Bakary Sanyang handed over the trophy to the winner Black Star FC of Pirang during presentation ceremony.
The final was witnessed by community leaders and Bell Bottling Company Staff.
