Assan Ceesay’s Osnabruck fights for survival in Germany 2nd Division

Gambian striker Assan Ceesay’s Osnabruck team is fighting for survival in the 2019-2020 Germany Second Division League following their woeful performance in the league campaign.

Ceesay’s  side are currently sitting two places above safety in the Germany second tier with 34 points in twenty-nine league outings with five more games to go before the end of the league campaign.

The team will affray to win their remaining league matches to avoid relegation to Third Division League.

Ceesay was playing for Swiss side FC Zurich before moving to Osnabruck on loan in January 2020 to gain more playing time to increase his chances of playing for The Gambia senior national team; the Scorpions in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
