Ansumana Sanneh has been re-elected as president of Lower River Region (LRR) Football Association unopposed.
The 25-year-old scored a fine goal for his Malaysian side but his effort was not enough to secure a point as they lost 3-2 at home to Terengganu II.
Gassama who started his professional career with South Korean side Pyeongtaek Citizen helped his team to gained promotion to the Malaysian Second Division League after scoring 27 goals last season.
The latest defeat has moved Kelantan United to ninth position with 9 points, while Terengganu II sits 3rd position with 16 points after nine matches.
