1st Division League season winds up this weekend

The 2023-2024 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division One League season is set to wrap up this weekend with fascinating and stimulating encounters across venues in the Greater Banjul Area and West Coast Region respectively.

Real de Banjul, who retained the country’s Elite League title some weeks ago, will play against Falcons in their final league fixture.

The city boys snatched 65 points after 29 league matches.

Real de Banjul will be playing for pride against Falcons, who are currently occupying second-place on the First Division League table with 52 points in 29 league matches.

Falcons will fight hard to beat Real de Banjul to secure second-place in the 2023-2024 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division One League.

It could be recalled that Falcons finished second-place in the 2022-2023 Gambia Football Federation GFF Division One League.

Meanwhile, TMT FC will host Brikama United in their final league clash on Saturday 29th June 2024 at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium at 4.30pm.

Brikama United need to avoid defeat against TMT FC to survive in the country’s Elite League for another season.

Greater Tomorrow will welcome Marimoo Pakfood at the Box Bar Mini Stadium at 4.3pm on the same day.

On Sunday 30th June 2024, The Gambia Armed Forces will clash with Banjul United at the Live Your Dreams Sports Dream Complex in Basori at 4.30pm.

Bombada will entertain Samger at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium at 4.30pm, while Steve Biko will lock horns with Waa Banjul at the Bakau Mini Stadium at 4.30pm.

Team Rhino will play against BST Galaxy at the Late Ousman Saho Football Field at 4.30pm, while Wallidan will take on Fortune FC at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium at 4.30pm on the same day.
