ST Brikama Boyo offers 6-year tuition Sponsorship for viral “Cigaretto video” kid

Gambian Superstar Rapper ST Brikama Boyo made a surprise visit to the family house of the kid-fan whose video rendition of his Cigaretto song went viral recently.

The boy’s name is Hashim Bobo Jallow and lives in Tabokoto with his mom and siblings.

Speaking before the family, ST said he was very impressed by Bobo’s video stating that he  displayed an incredible sense of creativity, skill, and enthusiasm.

“I believe if he is supported, he will go far in life. And I’m happy to be part of that journey in anyway I can”, ST said.

As a token of appreciation, ST presented the visibly excited Hashim Bobo with a school bag, books, pens and an undisclosed amount of money. Additionally, he offered him a 6-year sponsorship to cover his primary education.

Shortly after Bobo’s wonderful performance became an instant internet sensation, ST launched an online search for him leading to the Thursday meeting.

Bobo is a bubbly young boy who is full of life and couldn’t hide his joy meeting his idol.
