RFH hands over 30 motorbikes to Health Ministry

Riders for Health (RFH) last Friday handed over 30 motorcycles to the Ministry of Health (MOH) for onward delivery to public health officers in the country.

The handing over ceremony was held at the Riders for Health headquarters in Kanifing.

Speaking at the event, Ousman Yabo, a member of the board of directors for RFH, said the day marks another memorable day in the annals of RFH in terms of ensuring that the health service is on the move by providing motor cycles to them.

“Today we are handing over 30 motorcycles to the director of health services and field workers at the Ministry of Health.” he added.

Dr Mustapha Bittaye, director of Health Services at the Ministry of Health, expressed delight in receiving the items, and thanked RFH for handing over 30 motorcycles to the Ministry of Health.

He assured that the partnership would continue to grow in strength, further expressing optimism that the items would further improve services at the Ministry of health.

Also speaking, Alhagie Sankareh, regional director, hailed the move, further reiterating that they are appreciative for all the support from the Ministry of Health over the years.

He thanked RFH for appending their approval in getting new motor cycles to replace the old ones.
