At the ceremony, the new graduates were presented with certificates, while deserving teachers were awarded for their key role in the school’s sport development.
In her statement, Binta Njie-Jatta, guest speaker of the occasion, commended the school administration for creating an enabling environment for students as well ensuring quality education for students over the past.
She equally advised the new graduates to embrace challenges that lie ahead and never to shy away from pursuing their passion.
“Let your education be the foundation upon which build your dreams and aspirations.”
She encouraged them to always put in mind that they are armed with the tools and knowledge to make a difference in the world.
“As you step out into the world beyond these walls, remember that you carry the legacy of Rev J.C. Faye Memorial School.”
“Embrace the responsibility, cherish your education, and let it guide you on your path to greatness.” she advised.
Mamie Anna Colley, an outgoing student, thanked the school management for guiding and supporting them throughout their stay at the school.
She, also, advised the current students to maintain discipline and remain patient to ensure they attain their goals in the school.
The ceremony characterized by music, poetry, and choreography, was attended by ex-students, family members and a cross section of the community.
