Peace Network deputy CEO honoured

The deputy Chief Executive Officer of Peace Network, Professor Momodou Mustapha Fanneh has been awarded with a prestigious award by the Center for Policy, Research and Strategic Studies (CepRass).

The award is in recognition of his exemplary leadership and significant contributions to the growth and success of CepRass. As a founding member of CepRas, Professor Fanneh has played an instrumental role in shaping the organisation into what it is today.

At the award ceremony, Lamin Dampha, executive director, emphasised the rationale behind the award, while expressing gratitude to Professor Fanneh for his unwavering dedication and impactful contributions.

Dampha highlighted how Professor Fanneh’s visionary leadership and commitment have been pivotal in CepRass’s development and achievements.

In his acceptance speech, Professor Momodou Mustapha Fanneh, who currently serves as the Vice Chancellor of Euclid University, expressed heartfelt appreciation to CepRass for the recognition and honor.

He reflected on his extensive work with CepRass, recounting the challenges and triumphs experienced over the years.

He fondly referred to CepRass and the School of Business and Public Administration at the University of The Gambia as his professional homes, where he spent some of the most rewarding years of his career.

Professor Fanneh also spoke about the collaborative efforts and the shared vision that contributed to the growth of CepRass.

To that end, he commended the team for their hard work and dedication, which have been crucial in achieving the organisation’s objectives.

He also encouraged continued collaboration and innovation to drive CepRass forward.

The ceremony, attended by officials from both CepRass and Euclid University, was a testament to the strong bonds and mutual respect between the institutions.

Aja Fatou Senghore, Director of Consultancy and Training at CepRass, chaired the event. She praised Professor Fanneh for his enduring legacy and the indelible mark he has left on CepRass.

The event was a celebration of Professor Fanneh’s remarkable journey and his profound impact on policy research and strategic studies in The Gambia. His leadership and contributions continue to inspire and guide CepRass towards achieving greater heights in the field of policy research and consultancy.
