The Gambia Red Cross Society (GRCS) on Wednesday 7 October 2010 presented one thousand (1000) rapid diagnostic test kits to the Ministry of Health (MoH).
Presenting the items, Jallow commended the Chief Executive Officer of Unique Foundation for the donation, saying the move is geared towards intensifying efforts to stem the spread of COVID-19 in the country.
The foundation, he said, works in support of vulnerable children, youths, women and rural communities in The Gambia.
He expressed optimism that the medical items would go a long way in helping communities of his constituency in the fight against COVID19.
He also thanked the management of the foundation for the foresight and support that they’ve been rendering to the community.
