The presentation ceremony was organised by staff of Jah Oil Brikama New town headed by Fatou Sowe, a dynamic young energetic female. The gifts were praying mats, mayonnaise, sugar, T-Shirts, Quranic books, soft drinks and other foodstuffs.
During the presentation, more than 23 people benefited from Jah Oil Company’s benevolent gesture under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer Hamidou Jah.
The gesture was the first of its kind by Jah Oil Brikama Newtown branch, and the initiative was part of the company’s corporate social responsibility to customers.
Speaking at the presentation, the Branch Manager, Fatou Sowe, expressed gratitude to the management of Jah Oil Company, particularly to Mr Hamidou Jah, for ensuring the event realised.
According to her, Ramadan is a caring and sharing month; thus Jah Oil Company deemed it fit to give back to their loyal customers. “Jah Oil Company is here to satisfy its customers and will continue to provide affordable and quality service to them,” she said, further thanking loyal customers for always patronising them.
Sulayman Bah, a beneficiary, acknowledged the gesture and praised Jah Oil Company for the unflinching support that the company has continued to render to communities and most vulnerable people in society.
He also called for more gestures from Jah Oil Company, declaring that Jah Oil is the leading petroleum products company in The Gambia that “offers quality service delivery” to its esteemed customers.
Since he tested buying from Jah Oil Company, Mr Bah said he had never deviated from the company due to its quality products. He had even been engaging and convincing other people to patronise Jah Oil, he added.
He commended the management of Jah Oil Company, particularly its Brikama Newtown branch staff, for their professionalism in dealing with customers.
He further appreciated the gesture given, “especially during the Holy Month of Ramadan”.
Alhagie Sowe, also a beneficiary, extended his appreciation to Jah Oil for recognizing them as regular and loyal customers.
“We are filled with joy and happiness for receiving the token of Ramadan gifts from Jah Oil,” he smilingly stated.
Sowe, who received his gifts with glee, encouraged all drivers to buy from Jah Oil, saying its “fuel is very good and does no harm to the engine of a car”.
