The gesture was in appreciation of the employees’ efforts and a token of assistance during the period of the state of public health emergency in The Gambia due to coronavirus pandemic and the Muslim month of Ramadan.
Chief Executive Officer, Xue Conjlin said this year’s gesture is a special one as people are socially and economically affected as a result of Covid-19. “Caring about your employees motivate them to be willing to do more and a better job for you.”
Muhammed Conteh, cold store supervisor who spoke on behalf of the employees thanked the company and its management for the gesture.
