GCAA MD removed

The managing director of Gambia Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), has been removed, The Point has been informed.

According to a confirmed source, Abdoulie Jammeh has been transferred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for appropriate redeployment to Foreign Service as he has now been replaced by Asnu Bojang, former Gambia diplomat.

Omar Sanneh, Acting Focal Person of the Resilience Sea Project, under the Department of Park and Wildlife Management has called for the protection and preservation of seagrasses, claiming that seagrasses are flowering plants that grow entirely underwater and serve as a feeding ground for fish among other marine organisms.
