Mr. Aubee recently retired as the Head of Agriculture Division of ECOWAS Commission in Abuja, Nigeria.
The award is in recognition of Mr Aubee's significant contribution towards the modernisation of agriculture through the development of crop value chains in West Africa.
The Institute also recognised his contributions in increasing agriculture productivity through technology transfer for small scale farmers in the region.
A case in point is the West Africa Agriculture Productivity Programme which was jointly implemented by ECOWAS, CORAF and member states.
Other recipients of the award were Prof Husseini Ibrahim, Director General of the Raw Materials Research & Development Council and Felix Achibiri, Executive Chairman/CEO of DFC Holding Limited.
The ceremony was part of the 2022 Entrepreneurship Summit held at the Raw Materials Research and Development Council in Abuja, Nigeria on Friday, 30 September 2022.
