Gambian ambassador in US passes away

The Gambian ambassador in the United States, Dawda Fadera, has passed away yesterday at the Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital, The Point has learned.
Prior to his ambassadorial position, Mr. Fadera was appointed Secretary General and Head of Civil Service by President Adama Barrow in 2018.
Dawda Fadera had also worked at the Personal Management Office (PMO) where he rose through the ranks until he one time became a permanent secretary.
