The tournament is set to run from September 2nd to 7th September 2025.
The championship is aimed at preparing and empowering young athletes in Africa.
The tournament is built up to Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games.
FIVB has approved Knowledge Transfer Programme – Referee Development, (IRCC) for beach volleyball to enhance and increase the number of international beach volleyball referees across the continent.
The international refereeing candidate course (IRCC) will be held alongside development cup on 1st September 2025.
The course and development cup will wrap up on 7th September 2025.
