Dr. Ceesay named among 100 most influential African leaders

Leader of Citizens’ Alliance and former lecturer at the University of The Gambia, Dr. Ismaila Ceesay has been named along other Gambians as one of Africa’s 100 greatest leaders by the Pan-African Youth Leaders Foundation.

The Pan-African organisation recognises young people between the ages of 18 and 35 years for their outstanding achievement. It also creates a hub for integration and idea dissemination among West African youth.

The organisation in collaboration with the Luminous Hills Limited will be holding the grand fifth edition of the 100 MostInfluential Leaders in Africa convergence on 14th to 16th April 2023 in Accra, Ghana.

The event will officially recognise the leaders from across the conference and discuss issues concerning the continent.

Other Gambians conferred the same honor are photographer, producer and chief executive officer of multimedia group State of Mic, Alhagie Manka; Jaha Dukureh, United Nations’ Goodwill Ambassador for Africa and Kemo Bojang, local government legislator and United Democratic Party executive member.
