
Witness Touray during his testimony on Monday acknowledged that what the counsel said was “correct”. However, he proceeded to say that: “We were indebted because of the liabilities.”
“For you people, development was not a priority,” the deputy lead counsel added.
The witness held that they intended to implement development plans but they did not have the funds.
“You guys were busy spending monies in your offices and you did nothing for development,” Counsel Gomez said.
Gomez also said that the ex-CEO and others met “as friends” but did not meet “as required by law and procedure.”
