Dr. Bambara-Abban, a highly qualified and experienced hands-on Business Agility and Transformation Professional (Enabler/Practitioner) is in the country to explore the country’s business landscape and how he can use his expertise to transform enterprises and the public sector organisations using agile practices, techniques and tools.
Apart from being an Agile Professional and a Red Team Thinking (RTT) Certified Practitioner (Red Team Leader) with over 20+ years in the field, Dr. Abban has had many roles throughout his career, including Project Manager, Lead Scrum Master, Product Owner, Trainer, Agile Coach, Senior Executive in the Public and Private sectors and more recently, working globally as a Business Agility, Transformation Coach and a Professional Kanban Trainer (one of the few in the world).
Nana, as he is also referred to, started his professional life on the ‘shop floor’ as a Project Manager and Management Consultant. He then made the switch to Development and Agile and his career has progressed all the way through to Programme Management.
Later, he moved on to work at an executive level in the boardroom. In the public sector, he has worked at a Police Commissioner level serving as Adviser to five (5) Inspectors General of Police on Transformation and also supported Immigration, Prisons and Fire Service under National Security.
In the Private Sector, he has served as a Chief Operating Officer (COO), Executive Vice President (EVP), Deputy CEO and a Business Owner, launching several major Tech start-ups, two consultancies and two major global Business and Technology events in the UK and Ghana.
He works as an Executive Coach, commonly working with C-suite leaders and managers at many organisations.

He is also Founder of Adinkrahene.Org, a Pan African charity, adopting orphanages (an Akaditi CSR initiative). His mission is to transform orphans to become future leaders.
As an organic farmer, wellness and Natural Healing promoter and a Land Rover Defender Builder, he is also an author and a motivational writer and speaker, Reflections on Adinkra: ROA (a daily message that he has been writing from 1999, started publishing 14 years ago).
He is passionate about Africa and is looking at empowering the next generation of leaders in the continent. This trip, one of many since 1995 and being his second home -The Gambia - is to seek opportunities to work and empower organisations to transform their processes to realise expotential growth and bottomline results.
