ADLaM Gambia Association turns 8

Members of the Windenjangen ADLaM Association, The Gambia and ENDAM Fulbe Africa over the weekend observed their 8th international conference at Ndow’s Hall in Kanifing.

The event brought together various participants including international delegates. It commenced with students’ march past led by The Gambia Police band.

ENDAM Fulbe Africa is an international organisation that brings together many associations supporting the welfare of the Fulbe and the promotion of their language and culture.

The conference gave an opportunity toWindenjangen ADLaM representatives from African countries and around the globe to discuss ADLaM and its contribution to education and information dissemination in their communities which also served as a platform to share, learn and present on the progress registered by the association.

Mahamad Bah, head of ADLaM Gambia Association, applauded delegates for partaking in the forum and commended the initiators of the association.

He urged all to be one family as well as encouraged the teaching of the language to young ones for them to able to read and write the Pularr language effectively. Other delegates included members from Google, Microsoft and Jamrapatel.
