Spanish Prime Minister arrives in Gambia

President of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sanchez Perez Castejon will today arrive in The Gambia for a day working visit.

He will be received at the Banjul International Airport by His Excellency, Mr. Mohammed B.S. Jallow, vice president of The Republic of The Gambia.

Mr. Castejon will then visit the Gambia Ports Authority to greet Spanish Guardia Civil and National Police before leaving for the State House where he will be received by HE President Barrow for a tete-a-tete meeting.

Their discussion is anticipated to focus on fostering cooperation between Spanish police officers stationed in The Gambia and Gambian security forces as well as putting places ways of combating irregular migration.

The meeting follow the  signing of bilateral agreements.

He will be hosted for lunch by HE President Barrow before leaving for the airport to the Kingdom of Spain.
