According to the CEO of the company Mr. Ndenneh Senghore, despite Faal’s paying only five months, the company still honours its promise and paid his benefits to his family to support themselves.
As a result of that promise, a delegation led by the CEO of both Takaful Limited and Salaam Family Takaful Insurance Company decided to present the cheque to the family of the late of Hamat Faal.
The CEO was accompanied by Mr. Kwabena O. Adjei, business development manager, Modou Jammeh, operations supervisor, Salim Ceesay, finance director, general secretariat for Islamic and Arabic Education (AMANAA) and Omar Jarju (AMANAA) cluster monitor, Region 2.
CEO Senghore expressed condolences and wished that late Hamat Faal had lived to serve the policy until maturity period and reaped all entitlements in the Islamic form. “That was our wish. But unfortunately, man proposes and God disposes. This is what God actually wants for him and we pray to Allah to have mercy on him.”
He seized the opportunity to commend its partners such as AMANAA for taking the lead in supporting and facilitating clients to patronise Salaam Takaful. He described the partnership as great and trustworthy, while noting that Salaam Takaful would continue to keep up that trust and deliver its promise to its clients whenever the needs arise.
He noted that insurance is legal contract between two parties – the insured and the insurance; and the agreement must be respected and in the event of any eventuality, the insurance becomes obligatory to its client.
According to the CEO, Salaam Takaful operates in a principled Islamic way, and that’s why it deems it fit to collaborate with AMANAA to obtain policy in respective schools.
“As a policy maker and as Muslims, we join together to support one another. That’s what prompted Salaam Takaful Company to come and honour its promise to the family of the late Hamat Faal.
Other speakers such as Mr. Kwabena O. Adjei, business development manager, Salim Ceesay, finance director, general secretariat for Islamic and Arabic Education (AMANAA) and Omar Jarjue (AMANAA) cluster monitor region2, Lamin fatty current principal Amur Bun Ahass) and Muhammed Nasir Faal, son of the late Hamat Faal all expressed appreciation about the giant step taken by Salaam Takaful.
