Sabally appointed NPP national youth president

Momodou Sabally, the deputy campaign manager of National People’s Party (NPP) and also the special presidential adviser has been appointed as National Youth President of the NPP, according to a media dispatch.

Six other party members Abdoulie Cham, Hon. Ramzia Diab, Mr. Musa B. Susso, Mr. Omar Biyai, Mr. Yusupha Jammeh and Mr. Lamin Saho were equally appointed to various positions within the party, according to a statement below:

“The general public, including officials, members, and supporters of the National People’s Party (NPP), is hereby informed that the Secretary General and Party Leader of the National People’s Party, His Excellency Mr. Adama Barrow, acting in accordance with the Party’s Constitution and Resolution 001/2025 of the 2025 NPP National Congress, has approved the following changes and appointments to the Party’s National and Youth wing Executive Committees, effective immediately:

  1. Mr. Momodou Sabally formerly deputy Campaign Manager, is appointed as National Youth President of the NPP.
  2. Mr. Abdoulie Cham, formerly Public Relations Officer of the National Youth Wing, is appointed as Deputy National Campaign Manager.                 
  3. Hon. Ramzia Diab is appointed as a Co-opted National Executive Member.
  4. Mr. Musa B. Susso is appointed as a Co-opted National Executive Member.
  5. Mr. Omar Biyai is appointed as a Co-opted National Executive Member.
  6. Mr. Yusupha Jammeh of Tanjeh is appointed as Public Relations Officer of the National Youth Wing.
  7. Mr. Lamin Saho is appointed as Deputy Public Relations Officer of the National Youth Wing.

These strategic appointments underscore the Party’s unwavering commitment to youth empowerment, grassroots mobilization, and inclusive national development in preparation for upcoming national engagements.

On behalf of the National Executive, membership, and supporters, His Excellency President Adama Barrow extends his heartfelt congratulations to all newly appointed officials. He urges them to discharge their duties with diligence, integrity, and patriotic dedication.

The Party Leader further calls on all NPP structures, supporters, and affiliated stakeholders to extend their full support and cooperation to the new appointees and to continue working collectively in pursuit of the Party’s vision, principles, and national aspirations.”
