Police arrest political activist Neneh Gomez

Police on Friday arrested Neneh Gomez, a political activist for attempting to enter a property in Bijilo.

The said property is reported to be under litigation at the High Court.

This is the second time that the spokesperson for the opposition Citizens Alliance Neneh Gomez has been arrested. She was earlier arrested last month for trespassing and also criminal damage at the property.

Meanwhile, it is understood that police are under pressure for the release of Neneh Gomez after she was arrested and detained at the Senegambia police station on Friday.
