Hundreds of mourners including colleagues gathered at his house to pay their last respect before he was finally laid to rest.
Sanyang was described by many as a pious Muslim who was jovial and very down to earth and loved his profession very well.
He was also described as a beloved member of his community and hero of unification of Youths in Kunkujang Jattaya, Makumbaya, Kubariko, Galloya and other satellite villages and The Gambia at large.
