Illegal structures built around the dumpsite have blocked the water way which compounded the problem of accessibility for dumping inside the site. However, the council has deployed every resource at its disposal; finance, human and material to address this problem.
In the meantime, the council is working with partners such as the Brikama Area Council for access to dumping at Tambana as a temporary measure until a long-term solution is secured.

Therefore, the council craves the indulgence of the general public during these difficult times.
