The list features individuals from diverse sectors including leadership, entertainment, Human Rights, education, and business looking at Integrity, Visibility, and Impact as criteria.
Reacting to her recognition, Hon. Njie described it as a show of the impact of her work in representation, particularly on the lines of gender advocacy. “What we are doing is creating hope and impact. We need a more quality representation than just quantity.”
Hon. Njai who serves as the Chairperson of the Select Committee on Gender, Children and Social Welfare is also a member of the country delegation to the ECOWAS Parliament.
