The below reads the full text of his message:

My Dear Brothers and Sisters in The Gambia,

As we celebrate Eid al-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan, I extend my warmest wishes to all Muslims and the entire Gambian nation. This blessed occasion reminds us of the values of faith, sacrifice, compassion, and unity that Ramadan instils in us.

Throughout this sacred month, we have fasted, prayed, and reflected on our duties to Allah (SWT) and to one another. Let us carry forward the spirit of generosity, forgiveness, and solidarity beyond Ramadan, fostering peace and harmony in our beloved country.

To those facing hardship, may this Eid bring you hope and relief. To our youth, may you remain steadfast in building a brighter future. And to all Gambians, regardless of faith or background, let us continue working together for a prosperous, just, and united Gambia.

As we rejoice with family and friends, let us remember the less fortunate and extend a hand of kindness. May Allah (SWT) accept our prayers, bless our nation, and guide us toward progress and stability.

Eid Mubarak! May the Almighty grant us peace, happiness, and prosperity.
