Children’s minister tests positive for covid-19

The minister for Women, Children and Social Welfare, Fatou Kinteh, has tested positive for covid-19, the state broadcaster, GRTS posted on its Facebook account yesterday.

She is the fourth Cabinet minister to have tested positive for covid-19 in The Gambia. Three other ministers plus the vice president have all been initially tested positive for the virus, while Health Minister Ahmadou Lamin Samateh is under quarantine.
