VP Jallow thanked the High Commission for reaching out to his office. He thus assured the British High Commissioner of his office’s collaboration.
The British High Commissioner to The Gambia, David Belgrove OBE, said he just had the privilege of meeting the Vice President.
According to him, they had discussed a wide range of issues, including constitutional reform, civil service reform, support to the implementation of the TRRC recommendations, support to the security sector, support to human rights and support to the environment.
“We talk about a wide range of issues. And it was a privilege to have such an early meeting with His Excellency and start what I hope will be a very productive relationship.”
