Barrow set to launch more road projects in 3 regions

In continuance of his development projects for The Gambian people, His Excellency President Barrow on Thursday 8th June 2023 departed Banjul for his native Mankamang Kunda in the Upper River Region (URR).

On Saturday, 10 June 2023, President Barrow launches 63.5 kilometres of road network covering: Basse-Dampha Kunda-Chamoi (7.2KM); Basse Manneh Kunda-Demba Kunda and Gambissara (14KM); Sukutoba-Kolikunda-Wellingara Yare-Gunjur Kuta-Sare Kali-Barrow Kunda and Chamoi Bunda (28KM); Dampha Kunda-Tambasansang Road (5KM) and Basse Internal Roads (9.5KM). President Barrow then holds a meeting in Numuyel in the Jimara District. 

From URR, President Barrow will on Sunday, 11th June, 2023, proceed to the Central River Region (CRR) to inaugurate the 12KM Brikamaba-Boyram-Joben-Wellingara Kejew-Saruja Road; 26KM Karantaba Reneru-Tabanani-Demfaye-Njaga-Fitu Fula Road; 13KM Laminkoto-Banni-Youna-Kunting Road and the 11KM Njau Loop and inspect the North Bank Roads Lot 2 Project.

President Barrow and delegation will have a night stop in Farafenni, North Bank Region (NBR). 

En route to Banjul via Barra on Monday, 12 June 2023, President Barrow will visit the Niumi Hakalang Road Project. Upon completion, it is envisaged that these nationwide road projects will increase access to vital services and enhance economic growth with the free movement of people and goods.
