President Adama Barrow departed yesterday for Conakry on a brief working visit.
According to Guinea media, President Barrow was received at the airport by Prime Minister Amadou Oury Bah, who was deputising for President Mamadi Doumbouya.
Later, President Barrow and his delegation held talks with President Doumbouya. The discussions focused on economy, energy, trade and cultural cooperation between The Gambia and Guinea.
The visit is expected to strengthen bilateral ties in key areas of mutual interest.
