According to a source from a travel, the previous price for only one way was D9500 which has now been reduced to D5,150.
The source added that the air transport return ticket which used to be D23, 000 dalasis is now reduced to D6150 just like the air fare from Dakar to Ziguinchor.
According to our source, the least for one way ticket is D9,500, with others charging D11,500.
It could be recalled that this agreement was made at the just concluded 45th edition of the Top Resa International and French Market (IFTM) otherwise called Top Resa IFTM 2023.
The deal was struck by the Gambia’s Ministry of Tourism and Culture and its Senegalese counterpart at the Top Resa IFTM 2023 held in Paris, France from the 3rd to the 5th of October 2023.
