AMESCO Sport Infrastructure Initiative appoints Ambassador Abdoulie Touray as Official Rep for Gambia and West Africa

The AMESCO Sport Infrastructure Initiative (ASII) is pleased to announce the formal appointment of Ambassador Abdoulie M. Touray as the Official Representative of Reform Sports Systems (Turkey) for The Gambia and the wider West African region.

This strategic partnership marks a significant milestone in advancing modern, world-class sports infrastructure development across The Gambia and beyond. Reform Sports Systems, headquartered in Turkey, is a globally recognized manufacturer and installer of high-quality sports surfaces and facilities, delivering FIFA, ITF, and IAAF-compliant solutions across multiple continents.

Driving a New Era of Sports Infrastructure in The Gambia

Through this collaboration, ASII aims to:

Facilitate the design, supply, and installation of international-standard sports facilities

Support Government, municipalities, schools, and private investors in delivering bankable and sustainable sports infrastructure projects

Promote youth development, talent identification, and community engagement through access to modern facilities

Position The Gambia as a regional hub for sports tourism, training, and competitions

Key focus areas include:

Lawn tennis complexes (competition and training courts)

Football pitches (natural and artificial turf)

Multi-sport arenas and indoor facilities

Athletic tracks and fitness infrastructure

School and community recreational facilities

Proven Technical Capability

Recent engagements, including the supply and installation framework for ITF-standard acrylic tennis courts, demonstrate Reform Sports’ ability to deliver cost-effective and high-performance solutions. As referenced in project documentation, turnkey solutions covering surface systems, installation, and logistics are competitively structured to meet both public and private sector requirements.
