Albert market committee chair Salifu K. Jaiteh calls for unity

Salifu K. Jaiteh, chairman of Banjul Albert Market committee, has called on the market committee members and vendors to foster unity for the betterment of the market and their own wellbeing.

Chairman Jaiteh made this call recently during a cash donation presentation at his office in Banjul.

The cash collected by the committee to help the fire victims at the Albert Market in Banjul amounted to Five-Six Thousand, Two Hundred and Thirty –five dalasis (56,235)

He emphasised that the committee's effort to support the fire victims is commendable, adding that the D56,235 is a great start, showing solidarity with those affected by the fire at Albert Market.

The total donation collected for the Albert Market fire victims is D56,235, as stated in this breakdown: D27,360 from various people, D3,875 from Yusupha Sillah and team, D15,000 from Tallinding Market Committee, D10,000 from Banjul Market Committee, and D10,000 from Salifu K. Jaiteh, chairman of Albert Market Committee.

Chairman Jaiteh thanked all the donors for the support they have rendered to the fire victims at the market.
