In a separate incident during a night patrol on Sunday, July 28, the Anti-Crime Unit, responding to a tip-off, arrested more than fourteen individuals in Wellingara. These suspects were engaged in gang fights, armed with cutlasses and knives, stoning each other, and vandalizing properties and vehicles parked along the streets.
The suspects are in custody and are cooperating with ongoing investigations.
