On the ninth anniversary of the passing of the renewer of Sufi practice, the late Sheikh Hamza bin Abbas al-Qadiri al-Boudchichi, Sheikh of the Qadiri Boudchichiya Order, Dr. Moulay Mounir al-Qadiri Boudchichi, Sheikh of the Qadiri Boudchichiya Order and Director of the World Sufi Forum, sent a message of gratitude, love, and loyalty to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, may God grant him victory.
In press statements, Dr. Moulay Mounir al-Qadiri Boudchichi affirmed that this spiritual commemoration is an opportunity to express profound appreciation for the support and high patronage that His Majesty the King has consistently bestowed upon moderate Sunni Sufism, considering it a fundamental pillar in consolidating the values of spiritual peace, social balance, and human openness.
The Sheikh of the Qadiri Boudchichiya Order indicated that the followers and members of the order, both within Morocco and abroad, particularly in Europe, On this occasion, they reaffirm their unwavering support and sincere endorsement of His Majesty King Mohammed VI's efforts to advance Morocco and strengthen its spiritual and cultural standing at both the regional and international levels.
They also commended the pioneering role played by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, in consolidating the institution of the Commander of the Faithful as a guarantor of religious and doctrinal unity, a protector of the values of moderation and tolerance, and a champion of dialogue among cultures and religions, which has made the Moroccan experience a model to be emulated worldwide.
According to Al-Qadiri, this stance underscores the spiritual and historical connection of the Qadiriyya-Boudchichiyya Sufi order to the glorious Alawite throne, and renews their commitment to continue working in service of the Kingdom's religious and national principles, under the wise leadership of His Majesty the King, may God preserve and support him.
