Yakarr
Women Football Club have failed to gain promotion to the 2019-2020 Gambia
Football Federation (GFF) women second division league.
The
Sifoe based-team slipped to Prison in the second division league play-off
final, played at the Brikama Box Mini Stadium on Wednesday to remain in the
West Coast Regional third tier for another season.
They
will go back to the drawing board to improve on their weakness ahead of next
year’s league season after failing to gain promotion to the country’s women
second division league.
Meanwhile,
Prison will compete in the 2019-2020 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) women
second tier after defeating Yakarr in the play-off final, played at Box Bar
Mini Stadium in Brikama, on Wednesday.
