The Gambia’s Women U-17 side are currently in Morocco for a ten-day camp ahead of the World U-17 tournament in Azerbaijan later this month.
The team left Banjul Saturday night with 21 players and 8 officials for the training camp.
The side, which will be making their maiden appearance at the world’s show, is expected to leave North Africa at the tenth day of their camp for Azerbaijan before the kickoff.
Poinsports was also informed that more officials from Banjul will be joining the team in Azerbaijan on 17 September.
