A woman accused of assault, causing actual bodily harm and criminal trespass, was recently arraigned at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court.
Sirah Bah denied the charges and was granted court bail of D10,000 with two Gambian sureties.
The charge sheet on count one stated that Sirah Bah on 22 January 2012, at Old Yundum Village, entered into the compound of one Ramatoulie Jallow with intent to intimidate, assault or annoy her.
Count two read that on the same date and place, she assaulted the said Ramatoulie Jallow with a pestle on her forehead.
Hearing was adjourned until 22 February 2012.
