Side have suffered yet another setback in the ongoing Banjul nawettan following
their 1-0 defeat to Makan Bi in a well-contested game played at the Banjul KG 5
Mini Stadium.
West
Side made a woeful start to the Banjul summer biggest football fiesta after
losing their opening game, but came all out for a win against Makan Bi in order
to increase their chances of qualifying for the next round of the nawettan.
But
were reluctant to grab the vital three points hence lost one nil to Makan Bi.
The defeat was the second time in Banjul nawettan.
In
a similar development, Brusubi Park Food beat Ajax 2-1 in the 2016 Manjai
Nawettan played at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda to snatch
their second victory in the summer football championship.
