Welcome Senegal Airlines

Apr 11, 2011, 1:40 PM

We would like to welcome Senegal Airlines, which should ensure regular flight connections between Banjul and Dakar, and give a boost to the travel industry.

Indeed, the new airlines plans to have a service which links Banjul and Dakar four times weekly, connecting Gambia to Senegal, will improve travel connections to the region and the world at large.

The coming of the new Senegal  Airlines to Banjul is timely because, since Air Senegal International ceased its operations to The Gambia, many people have been find it extremely difficult to travel to Dakar, with some travelling by road to make their international flight connections.

However, now with this new partnership, air travel customers will be able to travel with peace of mind, without thinking of the long distance they would be travelling  by road, and it would make life easy for everybody.

The good thing about Senegal Airlines coming is that, apart from Banjul-Dakar route, services will reach other destinations within the subregion.

The only advice we have for the new airline's officials is to avoid unnecessary delays, if not this would frustrate the customers about their services and, if such a thing always continue to occur, the customers will have no choice but go for other means of transport.

It is also important for newly-inaugurated airline to establish a good working relationship with the local traveling agencies on the ground, as this would greatly help them to win the customer base in the country.

We wish Senegal Airlines good luck in its operations in the country.
