The Gambia National Olympic Committee (GNOC) and The Gambia Table Tennis Association (GTTA), in collaboration with ITTF–PTT, will from Saturday 6 December 2014 embark on a level 1 weeklong technical course organized for physical education teachers in Table Tennis, at the Independence Stadium Friendship Hostel in Bakau.
The GTTA course, which will conclude on 14 December 2014, will bring together 24 Physical Education Teachers from Schools and Table Tennis club coaches to participate in the training course.
The World Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) and PTT nominated Ms Bosede Kafo from Nigeria to conduct the course.
Ms Kafo is a renounced ITTF–PTT course instructor and this will be her first visit to The Gambia on such missions.
She is well experienced and has conducted so many technical courses around the world.
The course will be coordinated by GNOC Development officer Momodou Demba.
