Speaking to Pointsport, King Colley said his committee would give necessary support to the team, both morally and financially so that they can live up to expectations.
The optimistic Brikama prexy stated that they are ready to show out to others that they are the best zonal team.
"Brikama have made spectacular performance in the championship but luck was not on our side. This is why we were unable to clinch the championship. Brikama would not underestimate any team in the championship," he explained.
According to him, the team is ready for the tournament and is confident that Brikama would certainly lift the trophy this year.
The Brikama zonal team which is warming up for this year's session laid a 2-2 draw with the Gunjur zonal team in a friendly encounter last Friday 13th November 2009. Muhammed Yahya Jammeh's Perpetual Super Nawetaan zonal football championship is expected to kick-off on Saturday 21st November 2009.
Meanwhile, Real Chelsea FC will clash with Sky Power in the 2009 Brikama Knock-out Championship final today Wednesday 18th November 2009, at the Brikama Mini-Stadium.
Real Chelsea FC advanced to the final after defeating Berewuleng FC 1-0 in their semi-final clash.
Opponents Sky Power sailed to the final following their narrow 2-1 win over Nema United.
The final is expected to be a cracker as both sides will be in for the fight in one of the nations highly attended Nawettan zones.
