Wallidan beat GPA in the opening match of the TATA Safari Motors Cricket T-20 sponsored trophy of the Gambia Cricket Association.
Saturday's interesting encounter at the MRC grounds witnessed a perfect start for Wallidan in the three weeks knock-out competition.
GPA who first batted had scored 136 runs in 20 overs for six wickets. Aniru Conteh registered 35 runs and not out.
GPA's Melvin Williams bowled 4 wickets and took three wickets for 14 runs.
Wallidan chased the score and recorded 140 runs in 20 overs. George Greywood was rated man of the match after bowling 27 runs, 3 wicked in 4 overs also batted 31runs.
The three weeks super twenty tournament is being competed by five teams, including the Veterans, Jewel of India, 2009 cricket league champions, and Safeway Asia XI.
