The defending champions and the FA Cup holders are expected to register their first win today against the minors and newcomers Tallinding United at the Independence Stadium.
Wallidan lost to Samger, a team that came close of nipping the league from them last season, in the curtain raiser the Super Cup.
The champions also failed to maintain their lead against Steve Biko, the giant killers, who denied Wallidan the chance of picking their first three points. Biko's Alpha Omar Jallow scored from a free kick in the last minutes to secure a 1-1 draw for his team.
However, the Blue Boy's are expected to garner maximum points from their opponents in a game that it is widely believed will be one sided.
The assistant coach of Wallidan, Joe Tennis, fumed that their lack of goals in their two matches, was their main obstacle to winning. However, Joe stressed the need to go back to the drawing board at the training ground to work on this weakness.
Tallinding United were beaten by a lone goal by Hawks in week one of the season.
